Sync Google Calendar with Cozyla Calendar

Connect your Google Calendar to Cozyla Calendar using Two-Way Sync. You can choose which Google calendars to sync and assign each calendar to the appropriate family member profile.

Connect Google Calendar

  1. Tap Settings in the upper-right corner.
  2. Tap Calendars.
  3. In the member section where you want to add a calendar, tap Add.
  4. Tap Google.
  5. Tap Two-Way Sync.
  6. Sign in with your Google account.
  7. When your calendars appear:
    • Use the switches to choose which calendars you want to sync.
    • Select the member profile each calendar should sync to.
  8. Tap Done to finish setup.

Manage Connected Google Calendars

After you connect Google Calendar, you can remove a connected calendar or reassign it to another profile.
  1. Tap the arrow next to the member avatar.
  2. Review the connected calendars listed under that member.
  3. Tap the ... menu next to the calendar you want to manage.
  4. Choose whether to remove the calendar or reassign it to another profile.

Show or Hide Google Calendar Events

Each connected calendar has a checkbox.
  • Checked — Events from that calendar appear in Cozyla Calendar.
  • Unchecked — Events from that calendar are hidden.
If some Google Calendar events appear to be missing, confirm that the relevant calendars are checked.
 

Important Information About Reassigning Third-Party Calendars

Third-party calendars can only be linked to a single user account.
If you reassign an event from one member to another:
  • The event syncs to the new member's linked calendar if that member has a calendar selected as the sync target.
  • The event is removed from the original linked calendar account.
To avoid events disappearing or syncing unexpectedly:
  • Add a Profile directly to the event instead of reassigning the event to another member.
  • Or create a dedicated Family Profile specifically for connecting this type of third-party calendar.

  • The Google account connected to Cozyla Calendar
  • Whether the issue affects all calendars or only one calendar

  • Any error message shown during setup
