Calendar Settings let you personalize how events look, how your Calendar is displayed, and how event reminders work.
Open Calendar Settings
- Open Calendar.
- Tap Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Tap General.
Events
Keep Colors from Synced Calendars
Turn on Original Colors if you want events from supported synced calendars to keep their original calendar colors.
Personal Event Style
Use Personal Event Style to choose how events for an individual family member appear on your Calendar.
Tap the style preview you prefer.
Shared Event Style
Use Shared Event Style to choose how events shared by multiple family members appear on your Calendar.
Tap the style preview you prefer.
Dim Past Events
Turn on Dim Past Events to make past events appear semi-transparent.
This makes it easier to tell past events apart from what's still ahead.
View Options
First Day of Week
Choose which day you want your week to start on:
- Sunday
- Monday
Auto Scroll
Turn on Auto Scroll to let Calendar automatically adjust the view to better display recent events.
Agent Shortcut
Use the Cozyla Agent setting to turn access to Cozyla Agent on or off in Calendar.
- When Cozyla Agent is on, tap the Cozyla Agent shortcut icon to open it.
- When Cozyla Agent is off, the shortcut icon still appears. If you tap it, you'll see:
To use Cozyla Agent again, return to Calendar Settings and turn the setting back on.
Notifications
Default Reminders
Turn on Default Reminders if you want a reminder to be added automatically whenever you create a new event.
The default reminder is set for 30 minutes before the event.
You can still adjust the reminder when creating or editing an event.
Show Notifications
Turn on Show Notifications to display event reminder notifications.
Reminder notifications may appear on:
- The Screen Saver
- The launcher screen
Notification Sound
Turn on Notification Sound if you want a sound to play when an event reminder appears.
Events shared with multiple family members use a different default reminder sound than events assigned to an individual family member.
Reminder Ringtone
Tap Reminder Ringtone to choose reminder sounds for your family members.
You can set a different ringtone for each family member's scheduled events.
Snooze a Reminder
When an event reminder appears, tap Snooze if you want to be reminded again in 5 minutes.

- Your Cozyla device serial number (SN)
- Your Cozyla ID
- The Calendar setting you're having trouble with
- The affected family member, if applicable
- A screenshot or short video of the issue
- Any error message shown on the device
