Create a Suggested Chore

Suggested chores let you quickly add pre-configured chore templates instead of creating a chore from scratch. You can customize the suggested chore before saving it.

Before You Start

Make sure:
  • Your Calendar Neo device is set up.
  • Family members have been added.
  • You have a Calendar Essential subscription.

Create a Suggested Chore

  1. Tap the Tasks tab in the Navigation Bar.
  2. Tap the blue + icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Select Add Chore.
  4. Tap the lightbulb icon on the right side of the input field.
  5. Browse and select a suggested chore.
  6. The Add Chore panel opens with the suggested chore details.
  7. Edit the chore as needed, including:
    1. Chore name
    2. Icon
    3. Star reward
    4. Assignees
    5. Schedule and time
    6. Reminder
    7. Chore type
  8. Tap Done to save the chore.
 

Chore Settings

Assign Stars

Set the number of stars awarded when the chore is completed.
  • Tap + or − to adjust the value.
  • Or enter the number directly.

Chore Type

Choose how the chore is assigned.

Individual

Each selected family member receives their own copy of the chore and can complete it independently.

Compete

Assign the chore to multiple family members.
The first person to complete the chore earns the stars.

Rotate

The chore automatically rotates between the selected family members based on the schedule.

Troubleshooting

The Chore Was Not Added

  • Verify you tapped Done before leaving the Add Chore screen.

The Suggested Chore Needs Changes

  • Edit the chore details before tapping Done.
If the issue continues, contact Cozyla Support and include:
  • Your Cozyla device serial number (SN)
  • Your Cozyla ID
  • A brief description of the issue
  • A screenshot or short video, if available
