Routine & Chores Page Overview

The Routine & Chores page lets you view, organize, and manage your family's chores and routines. From this page, you can review assignments, edit existing items, delete tasks, and customize the display order.
 

Open the Routine & Chores Page

  1. Tap Tasks in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Open the Routine & Chores page.
  3. Review the current list of chores and routines assigned to family members.

Manage Chores and Routines

To manage existing chores or routines:
  1. Open the Routine & Chores page.
  2. Tap Manage in the upper-right corner.
 

View Chore or Routine Details

  1. On the Manage page, tap a chore or routine.
The details page displays information such as:
  • Name
  • Assigned family members
  • Star rewards
  • Schedule
  • Task settings

Edit a Chore or Routine

To edit an existing chore or routine:
  1. Open the chore or routine details.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Update the settings you want to change, including:
    1. Name
    2. Assignees
    3. Star rewards
    4. Schedule
  4. Tap Done to save your changes.

Delete a Chore or Routine

To remove a chore or routine:
  1. Open the chore or routine details.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Tap Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Reorder Chores

You can change the display order of chores.
  1. Open the Chores page.
  2. In the Chore All section, locate the six-dot drag handle beside a chore.
  3. Press and hold the drag handle.
  4. Drag the chore to its new position.
  5. Release to save the new order automatically.

Reorder Routines

You can also rearrange routines.
  1. Open the Routines page.
  2. Locate the six-dot drag handle beside a routine.
  3. Press and hold the drag handle.
  4. Drag the routine to the desired position.
  5. Release to save the new order automatically.

Troubleshooting

Unable to Edit a Chore or Routine

  • Confirm you selected the correct task.
  • Make your changes and tap Done before leaving the page.

Changes Do Not Appear

  • Refresh the page.
  • Wait a few moments for updates to sync.

Unable to Reorder Items

  • Press and hold the six-dot drag handle before dragging.
  • Release the item only after moving it to the desired position.
