Applies to: Calendar Max Go
You can customize your Calendar Max Go screensaver using photos, videos, clocks, calendar widgets, and connected photo services.
Supported screensaver sources include:
- Scene
- Clock
- Local Album
- Google Calendar
- Google Photos
Open Screensaver Settings
- Open Settings.
- Tap Screensaver.
Choose a Screensaver Source
Select one of the available screensaver sources:
- Scene
- Clock
- Local Album
- Google Calendar
- Google Photos
- Tap the screensaver source you want to use.
- Complete the setup steps for the selected option.
Add a Calendar Widget to the Screensaver
You can add a calendar widget overlay to supported screensavers.
- Open Calendar Widget Mode.
- Choose one of the following options:
- Cozyla Calendar
- Google-Compatible Standard
- Google-Compatible Simplified
- None
Upload Photos and Videos for Screensavers
You can upload media to Calendar Max Go using several methods.
After files are saved on the device, they can be selected from Local Album.
Method 1 — Email
- On your phone or computer, attach photos to an email draft or send them to yourself.
- On Calendar Max Go, sign in to the same email account.
- Open the email or draft.
- Download the photos to the device.
Method 2 — Google Photos
- Sign in to your Google Photos account on Calendar Max Go.
- Select the photos or videos you want to use.
- Download them to the device.
Notes:
- Downloaded photos can be used in Local Album.
- Videos must be downloaded locally before they can be used as screensavers.
Method 3 — iCloud
- Open the App Library.
- Open Chrome.
- Go to the iCloud website and sign in.
- Select the photos or videos you want to download.
- Open the three-dot menu.
- Select More Download Options.
- Choose Most Compatible.
- Open the downloaded ZIP file in Files by Google.
- Tap Extract.
After extraction, the files can be selected from Local Album.
Method 4 — Bluetooth
- Enable Bluetooth on both Calendar Max Go and your phone.
- Pair the devices.
- Open your phone’s photo gallery.
- Select the photos you want to send.
- Tap Send or Share.
- Select Bluetooth.
- On Calendar Max Go, tap Accept.
After the transfer finishes, the files should appear on the device.
Method 5 — USB Flash Drive
- Insert a USB flash drive into Calendar Max Go.
- Open Files by Google or Files.
- Select the USB drive from the storage list.
- Open the folder containing your photos or videos.
- Copy the files to the device.
Use Local Album
After photos or videos are downloaded to the device:
- Return to Screensaver Settings.
- Select Local Album.
- Choose the photos or videos you want to display.
Calendar Max Go Notes
Screensaver support and available sources may vary depending on:
- connected accounts
- downloaded content
- local device storage
- current software version
Expected Result
After configuring the screensaver:
- The selected screensaver should display correctly
- Local Album photos/videos should appear
- Calendar widgets should display if enabled
- Uploaded media should remain available on the device
Troubleshooting
Photos Do Not Appear in Local Album
If uploaded files are missing:
- Confirm the files were downloaded completely.
- Refresh the Local Album view.
- Restart the device if needed.
Videos Cannot Be Used as Screensavers
If videos do not appear:
- Confirm the video was downloaded locally.
- Retry the import process.
- Confirm the file format is supported.
iCloud ZIP File Will Not Open
If extraction fails:
- Open the ZIP file using Files by Google.
- Tap Extract again.
- Confirm enough device storage is available.
Screensaver Does Not Change
If the screensaver remains unchanged:
- Confirm the new source was selected.
- Reopen Screensaver Settings.
- Restart the device if needed.
