Calendar Max Go includes two independent systems designed for different experiences:
- CalendarOS
- HDMI TV System
This dual-system design helps separate productivity features from streaming and media viewing.
Dual-System Overview
Calendar Max Go includes:
CalendarOS
Cozyla’s native operating system for everyday use.
HDMI TV System
A separate viewing system used with an external TV stick connected through HDMI.
These two systems operate independently and do not share controls.
CalendarOS
CalendarOS is the primary system used for:
- Cozyla apps
- Scheduling
- Annotation
- Touchscreen interaction
- Everyday productivity features
Features:
- Full touchscreen support
- App interaction
- Family organization tools
Important:
- TV stick remotes do not control CalendarOS.
HDMI TV System
The HDMI TV System is used for streaming and media viewing.
Requirements:
- External TV stick connected through HDMI
Features:
- Streaming support
- Media viewing
- Remote-controlled navigation
Important:
- Touchscreen interaction is disabled in HDMI mode.
- Control is available only through the TV stick remote.
Important Notes
- CalendarOS and HDMI TV System are completely separate.
- Touch controls work only in CalendarOS.
- Remote control works only in the HDMI TV System.
- You must switch systems manually using the Sidebar.
Sidebar Overview
The Sidebar provides quick access to apps, tools, and recent activity.
It is divided into three main sections:
- App Shortcuts
- Control Center
- Recent Tasks
App Shortcuts
The top section displays Cozyla apps.
Tap an app icon to:
- Launch the app
- Switch between Cozyla applications
Control Center
The middle section contains system tools and quick actions.
Available tools may include:
- Back
- Home
- Screensaver
- Annotation
- Screen Capture
- Screen Recording
- Input Settings
- Voting tools
- Stopwatch
- Countdown timer
Input Settings
Use Input Settings to switch between:
- CalendarOS
- HDMI TV System
Recent Tasks
The bottom section displays recently used apps.
Tap a recent item to quickly continue where you left off.
Troubleshooting
Touchscreen Does Not Work
If touch controls are unavailable:
- Confirm the device is not in HDMI TV System mode.
- Switch back to CalendarOS using Input Settings.
Remote Control Does Not Work
If the TV stick remote is unresponsive:
- Confirm the device is in HDMI TV System mode.
- Check the TV stick connection.
Unable to Switch Systems
If Input Settings do not switch correctly:
- Open the Sidebar again.
- Retry the input switch.
- Restart the device if needed.
