Calendar Max Go includes a separate HDMI TV System designed for streaming and media viewing using an external TV stick.
The HDMI TV System operates independently from CalendarOS.
About the HDMI TV System
The HDMI TV System:
- Supports streaming and media viewing
- Requires an external TV stick connected through HDMI
- Uses remote-control navigation
- Disables touchscreen interaction while active
Important:
- Touch input is not available in HDMI mode.
- Control is available only through the TV stick remote.
Switch Between Systems
You can switch between:
- CalendarOS
- HDMI TV System
using the Sidebar Control Center.
Switch to HDMI TV System
- Open the Sidebar.
- Tap Input Settings.
- Select HDMI.
The device should switch to the HDMI TV System.
Exit HDMI TV System
To return to CalendarOS:
- Open the Sidebar again.
- Tap Input Settings.
- Select Cozyla.
Alternatively:
- Tap a Cozyla app icon to jump directly into CalendarOS.
Important Notes
- CalendarOS and HDMI TV System are separate systems.
- Touch controls work only in CalendarOS.
- Remote control works only in HDMI TV System mode.
Expected Result
After switching systems:
- HDMI mode should support TV-stick navigation
- CalendarOS should restore touchscreen functionality
- Sidebar input switching should work correctly
Troubleshooting
Touchscreen Does Not Work
If touch controls are unavailable:
- Confirm the device is not in HDMI mode.
- Switch back to Android mode using Input Settings.
Remote Control Does Not Respond
If the TV stick remote is unresponsive:
- Confirm HDMI mode is active.
- Confirm the TV stick is connected correctly.
- Retry the remote connection.
Unable to Switch Systems
If Input Settings do not switch correctly:
- Reopen the Sidebar.
- Retry the input switch.
- Restart the device if needed.
