You can:
- Write and draw freely
- Annotate documents and images
- Use geometry tools
- Import PDFs and images
- Create structured notes and mind maps
- Share content using QR codes or email
Open the Annotation App
You can open the Annotation App from almost any screen.
For example:
- Mark calendar dates
- Annotate screenshots
- Draw directly on imported documents
Method 1 — Open From the Sidebar
- Open the Sidebar.
- Tap Annotation.
Method 2 — Open From the App Library
- Swipe up to open the App Library.
- Tap the Annotation app.
Free Writing and Drawing
Use:
- Your finger
- The included touch-sensitive stylus
- A compatible Bluetooth mouse
to:
- Write
- Sketch
- Draw freely on the canvas
Available tools may include:

Troubleshooting
Unable to Draw or Write
If drawing does not work:
- Confirm you are in CalendarOS mode.
- Restart the Annotation App.
- Confirm the stylus or mouse is connected correctly.
Imported Files Do Not Open
If PDFs or images fail to load:
- Confirm the file format is supported.
- Retry the import process.
- Restart the app if needed.
Split Screen Does Not Work
If split-screen mode is unavailable:
- Confirm the feature is enabled.
- Restart the Annotation App.
- Confirm the current software version supports the feature.
