How Parental Lock Works
After you save your Parental Lock settings, the device asks for your PIN when someone first tries to open a protected app or feature.
Once the correct PIN is entered:
- Access stays unlocked temporarily.
- The default unlock period is 1 minute.
- You can set the PIN validity period anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes.
- When that period ends, the PIN is required again for protected content.
This lets you move between protected areas without entering your PIN every time while still keeping those areas restricted.
Forgot Your PIN?
If you forget your Parental Lock PIN:
- Tap Forgot on the PIN screen.
- A verification code will be sent to the email address associated with your Cozyla ID.
If you don't receive the verification email, check your spam or junk folder and make sure you're checking the email linked to your Cozyla ID.
If the email still doesn't arrive, contact Cozyla Support at help@cozyla.com.
