Applies to: Cozyla+ Mobile App
You can connect Apple Calendar to Cozyla Calendar so your selected Apple Calendar events appear in Cozyla.
Apple Calendar requires an Apple app-specific password. This is different from your regular Apple ID password.
Make sure you have:
- Access to the Cozyla+ Mobile App
- Access to the Apple ID connected to your Apple Calendar
- Access to Apple account settings
- A device or phone number that can receive your Apple ID verification code
- A stable internet connection

After setup is complete, your Apple Calendar should connect to Cozyla Calendar. Your selected Apple Calendar events should appear after syncing.
Third-party calendars, including Apple Calendar, can only be linked to a single user account.
If you reassign an event from one member to another, the event may:
- Sync to the new member account if the new member has a linked calendar selected as the sync target
- Be removed from the original linked calendar account
- Appear to disappear or sync unexpectedly between members
To avoid issues such as events disappearing or syncing unexpectedly, we recommend adding a Profile directly to the event instead of reassigning it to another member.
Alternatively, you can create a dedicated Family Profile specifically for connecting this type of third-party calendar.
Apple Calendar Does Not Connect
If Apple Calendar does not connect:
- Confirm your internet connection is working.
- Confirm you entered the correct Apple account.
- Confirm you entered the Apple app-specific password, not your regular Apple ID password.
- Generate a new app-specific password and try again.
- Return to Cozyla and tap Connect again.
Apple Calendar Events Do Not Appear
If your Apple Calendar events do not appear in Cozyla Calendar:
- Confirm the Apple Calendar account is connected.
- Confirm the events are in the Apple Calendar account you connected.
- Confirm the events are assigned to the correct profile or member.
- Refresh Cozyla Calendar and wait a few minutes for events to sync.
Events Disappear After Reassigning Them
If events disappear after you reassign them to another member:
- Check whether the new member has a linked calendar selected as the sync target.
- Check whether the event was removed from the original linked calendar account.
- Add a Profile directly to the event instead of reassigning the event owner.
- Consider using a dedicated Family Profile for shared third-party calendar events.
