Use this guide to check the most common causes and next steps for this issue.
What to Check First
Quick Fixes:
- Check Wi-Fi connection.
- Re-log into the account that requires calendar synchronization.
- Update Calendar software.
- Verify sync permissions:
- Google Calendar > Settings > Manage Accounts > Enable sync.
Advanced Troubleshooting:
- Check that calendar syncs with your account
- Open settings in App page
- Tap Passwords & accounts
- Find the Google account that you want to sync, tap in.
- Tap Account sync, make sure account sync is on for "calendar"
Make sure calendar storage is turned on
- Open settings in App page
- Tap Apps
- Tap See all Apps to get the list of all apps
- On the top right, tap three dots to open the show system
- Find the calendar storage, make sure it is turned on
Check your device's storage
When your device runs out of storage, the calendar app stops syncing
- Open settings in app page
- Find the storage section
