Create a Custom Chore

Create a custom chore when you want to set up a chore from scratch and choose its name, reward, assignees, schedule, and other options.
 

Create a Custom Chore

 
  1. Tap the black+ icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Add Chore.
  3. The Add Chore panel opens from the right side of the screen.
  4. Enter and configure the chore details, including:
    1. Chore name
    2. Optional chore icon
    3. Star reward
    4. Assignees
    5. Schedule and time
    6. Reminder
  5. Finish configuring the chore and save it using the available completion control.
 
 

Assign Stars

 
Set the number of stars awarded for completing the chore.
 
You can:
 
  • Tap − to decrease the number of stars.
  • Tap + to increase the number of stars.
  • Enter the number of stars directly.

Choose a Chore Type

 
Choose how the chore should be assigned to the selected family members.
 

Individual

 
Select one or more family members to complete the chore individually.
 

Compete

 
Assign the chore to selected family members. The first person to complete the chore receives the stars.
 

Rotate

 
Assign the chore to multiple family members and rotate chore instances between them.

If you cannot create or configure a custom chore, contact Cozyla Support and include:
 
  • Your Cozyla device serial number (SN)
  • Your Cozyla ID
  • The chore type you were trying to create
  • A brief description of what happened
  • A screenshot or short video of the issue, if available
