How to Set Up and Activate Your Calendar Plus 3

Setting up a new Calendar Plus 3 only takes a few steps. You'll start on the device, then finish part of the setup on your phone using the Cozyla+ app. After that, you'll activate your device, let it finish any available updates, and go through a quick onboarding guide.
 

Before You Start

You'll need:
  • Your Calendar Plus 3
  • A phone
  • The email address you'd like to use for your Cozyla account

Step 1: Get Started

Turn on your Calendar Plus 3.
When you see the Meet your Cozyla screen, tap Get Started.

Step 2: Choose Your Language

Choose the language you'd like to use, then tap Next.

Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi

Choose your Wi-Fi network and connect your device.
When your network shows Connected, tap Next.
 

Step 4: Get the Cozyla+ App

Next, you'll see the Get the Cozyla+ App screen with a QR code.
Use your phone to scan the QR code, then download and open the Cozyla+ app.
Important
This first QR code is just for getting the Cozyla+ app. You'll scan another QR code later when it's time to activate your device.
Already have a Cozyla account? Select Sign in to activate on your Calendar Plus 3. Once you're signed in and your device is activated, you can skip ahead to Step 7: Let Your Device Finish Any Updates.

Step 5: Set Up Your Cozyla Account and Family

From here, you'll continue the setup in the Cozyla+ app on your phone.

Enter Your Email Address

On the Welcome to Cozyla+ screen, enter the email address you'd like to use with your Cozyla account, then tap Continue.
If you've used Cozyla before but can't remember which email address you used, tap Forgot your email?

Finish Creating Your Account

Continue through the app to finish setting up your Cozyla account.

Name Your Family

Next, give your family a name.

Choose Your Role

Choose the role that best describes you in your family.

Add Your Family Members

Add the family members you'd like to include.

Tell Us What You'd Like Help With

Choose what you'd like Calendar Plus 3 to help your family with.
We'll use your choices to tailor the rest of the setup. Depending on what you select, the Cozyla+ app may help you get started with things like schedules, meals, or other family content.
Just follow along in the app to finish this part of the setup.
 

Step 6: Activate Your Calendar Plus 3

When you're done with the setup in the Cozyla+ app, you'll reach the QR code scanning screen.
Tap Scan the QR Code.
Now go back to your device and tap Next to bring up the activation QR code.
Use your phone to scan the QR code shown on the screen.
Once the scan is successful, your device will continue with the rest of the setup.

Step 7: Let Your Device Finish Any Updates

After activation, your Calendar Plus 3 will check for firmware and software updates.
If an update is available, your device will take care of it for you. You don't need to do anything while the update is running.

When it's finished, you'll move on to the onboarding guide.

Step 8: Go Through the Onboarding Guide

The last part is a quick introduction to your Calendar Plus 3.
There's nothing you need to set up here. Just tap Next as you move through the guide.

You're All Set

That's it — your Calendar Plus 3 is set up, activated, and ready to use.
At this point:
  • Your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Your Cozyla account and family are set up, or you're signed in to your existing account.
  • Your Calendar Plus 3 is linked to your Cozyla account.
  • Any available firmware and software updates have been installed.
  • You've finished the onboarding guide.
