Rewards Page Overview

Applies to: Calendar+, Calendar+ 2, Calendar+ Go, and Calendar+ SE

The Rewards Page helps families manage rewards connected to chores, routines, to-dos, and other family activities.

Family members can view available rewards, redeem rewards using stars, and manage reward activity based on permissions and settings.

Rewards are grouped under each family member’s profile.

Each profile may display:

Avatar and member name
Total stars earned
Available rewards

This layout makes it easy to see who can redeem rewards at a glance.

To redeem an available reward, tap the Redeem button next to the reward.

Filter Rewards by Member

You can filter rewards to show only selected family members.

Tap the Filter icon in the top-right corner.
Select the member profiles you want to display.

Manage Rewards

Tap Manage in the top-right corner to review and manage rewards.

Reward Statuses

Rewards may appear in different statuses:

Pending Approval

If a reward requires approval, the redemption request will appear here until it is approved.

Available

Rewards that are active and available for redemption appear here.

Redeemed

After a reward is approved and completed, tap Done to move the reward into the Redeemed section.

Undo or Correct Reward Actions

You can undo a redemption or undo an approval if changes are needed.

Changes are easiest to correct before the reward is marked as Done.

Edit a Reward

Tap a reward from the Rewards list.
Update the reward details, such as:
1. Reward name
2. Icon
3. Required stars
4. Eligible family members
5. Approval settings
Tap Done to save your changes.

Explore Reward Ideas

You can browse recommended reward templates from the Experience page.

On the Rewards Page, tap Explore Ideas in the upper-right corner.
You will be redirected to the Experience page.
Browse the suggested reward templates.
Tap the + button next to a template to create a reward draft.
Customize the reward details as needed.

Some reward templates may include suggested star values.

Gift Shop for Physical Rewards

The Gift Shop can help families discover physical reward ideas for different age groups.

Tap the Amazon button to scan the QR code with your phone or open the web page directly.
Add products to your Amazon cart if desired.
You can also tap the + button to manually create your own custom physical reward.

Adjust Stars

You can manually add or deduct stars for family members.

Tap Adjust Stars in the upper-right corner.
Select the member profile(s).
Enter the number of stars to add or deduct.
Optionally enter a reason for the adjustment.
Tap Done to save your changes.

Troubleshooting

Rewards Do Not Appear

If rewards are missing:

Confirm rewards have been created.
Confirm the correct family member profile is selected.
Refresh the Rewards Page and try again.

Unable to Redeem Rewards

If a reward cannot be redeemed:

Confirm enough stars are available.
Confirm the reward is still marked as Available.
Confirm approval settings allow redemption.

Reward Approvals Are Missing

If approval requests do not appear:

Open the Manage section.
Check the Pending Approval area.
Confirm the reward requires approval.

Stars Did Not Update Correctly

If star totals look incorrect:

Review recent reward redemptions or adjustments.
Confirm the correct member profile was selected during star adjustments.
Refresh the Rewards Page.
