How to set up your Tasks app

The Tasks App helps families organize routines, chores, to-dos, and rewards in one place.
 
You can assign tasks to family members, track progress, reward completed activities with stars, and manage daily household routines.

Before You Begin

 
Before using the Tasks App:
 
  • Make sure your Cozyla ID is set up
  • Add your family members to your Cozyla account
  • Confirm your device is connected to the internet
If family members have already been added to your Cozyla ID, they will appear automatically on the Profile Page in the Tasks App.
 
To add or edit members:
 
  1. Tap the top-right icon to open Settings
  2. Select Set Up My Family or
  3. Tap the blue + icon
 

What You Can Do With the Tasks App

 
With the Tasks App, you can:
 
  • Assign chores, routines, and to-dos
  • Set star rewards for completed tasks
  • Create custom rewards
  • Allow family members to redeem rewards using earned stars
  • Organize daily schedules and responsibilities
This system helps families build routines and stay engaged together.
 
 

Add a Routine

 
  1. Tap the black + icon in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Select Add Routine Steps.
  3. The Add Routine panel will open.
  4. Enter the routine details, such as:
    1. Routine name
    2. Optional icon or emoji
    3. Star reward amount
    4. Assignees
    5. Repeat schedule
    6. Routine time zone
  5. Choose whether to save the routine to your Routine Library.
  6. Tap Done or save your changes if prompted.
You can also add routines from the Routine & Chores page using the Manage button.

Add a Chore

 
  1. Tap the black + icon in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Select Add Chore.
  3. The Add Chore panel will open.
  4. Enter the chore details, such as:
    1. Chore name
    2. Optional icon
    3. Star reward amount
    4. Assignees
    5. Schedule and time
    6. Reminder settings
  5. Tap Done or save your changes if prompted.
You can also add chores from the Routine & Chores page using the Manage button.

Complete Overdue Chores

 
You can allow overdue chores to be completed later if needed.
 
  1. Open the Routine & Chores page.
  2. Tap Settings in the top-right corner.
  3. Enable Complete Overdue Chores.

Add Rewards

 
Rewards can help motivate family members to complete chores, routines, and to-dos.
 
To create a reward:
 
  1. Create a reward name.
  2. Choose an icon or image.
  3. Set the required star amount.
  4. Choose which family members can redeem the reward.
  5. Configure any additional reward settings.

Profile Page Overview

 
The Profile Page displays each family member’s:
 
  • Chores
  • Routines
  • To-dos
  • Rewards
  • Daily activity

Routine & Chores Page Overview

 
The Routine & Chores section displays all chores and routines.
 
Features may include:
 
  • Viewing chores and routines
  • Switching between Day and Week views
  • Filtering displayed profiles
  • Viewing schedules by profile or chore group
To change the date or time range:
 
  1. Use the controls near the top-left corner of the page.
  2. Tap the W icon to switch to Week view if available.

Rewards Page Overview

 
The Rewards section allows you to:
 
  • View rewards
  • Add rewards
  • Edit rewards
  • Delete rewards
  • Redeem rewards using stars

Troubleshooting

 

Family Members Do Not Appear

 
If profiles are missing:
 
  1. Confirm the family members were added to your Cozyla ID.
  2. Refresh the Tasks App.
  3. Restart the device if needed.

Unable to Create Chores or Routines

 
If chores or routines do not save:
 
  1. Confirm required fields are completed.
  2. Confirm your device is connected to the internet.
  3. Try creating the task again.

Rewards Are Missing

 
If rewards do not appear:
 
  1. Confirm rewards were created successfully.
  2. Confirm the correct family profile is selected.
  3. Refresh the Rewards Page.
