What This Article Covers
This guide explains how to complete the customer task described in “Set Up Your Calendar+ 2.”
Before You Start
- Make sure your Cozyla device is powered on.
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi when the task requires online access.
- Make sure you can access any third-party account, app, or service used in this guide.
- If your screen does not match this guide, update the relevant Cozyla app or device software where applicable.
Steps
Welcome — this article will walk you through the setup process step by step.
You’ll learn how to connect to Wi-Fi, register your Cozyla ID, add family members, and pair the mobile app so your device is ready to use.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Start with network setup. Use the standard online connection to enable all features and automatic updates, or pick the faster offline setup to finish initial configuration quickly and register your Cozyla ID later. You can connect to Wi-Fi anytime from Settings > Network & internet.
Standard online connection:
- Select your Wi-Fi network → enter the password → tap Connect.
- Device setup may take about 1 minute.
- Cozyla supports Google services — you can sign in during setup or sign in later.
- To finish setup more quickly, tap Skip.
- You’ll see the Cozyla welcome screens; tap Let’s go to continue.
- After completing the welcome flow, register your Cozyla ID.

Skip waiting — set up offline:
- Tap Set up offline → Continue.
- On the time page adjust date & time → Next.
- To enable Google services later: tap More → Accept.
- On the welcome page tap Let’s go → review four info pages → tap Done.
- Offline users can’t register a Cozyla ID right away (see section 4). Tap Continue → Skip to finish setup.
To connect later:
Settings → Network & internet → Internet → choose network → enter password → Connect.
Check Device Version (Firmware)
- Open Settings → About device.
- Tap Device Update (bottom). Your current version appears above.
- Tap CHECK FOR UPDATES. If an update is available it will download and install automatically; the device will restart when finished.
- After updating, you’ll have the latest Cozyla apps.
Set Up a Cozyla Template (Home Screen)
Cozyla apps are widgets on the home screen. For best experience use the Family Hub template:
- Long-press any blank area on the home screen to open Cozyla UI settings.
- Tap Template (top right) → Choose Template → select Family Hub (applies automatically).
- Toggle the dock (upper right) to enable the dock bar. The dock shows apps like Calendar, Chores, Meals, and Notes.
Register a Cozyla ID
Registering enables full features and device sync. If you skipped registration during setup, do it from any Cozyla app:
- Open any Cozyla app and follow the welcome pages to the Cozyla ID screen → Continue.
- Enter the email you want to use → Continue.

Verify your email, then create a password that meets all of the following:
- At least one letter
- At least one number (0–9)
- Minimum 8 characters
- When requirements are met, three blue checkmarks appear. Tap Sign up.

Set Up Profile & Family Members
- Tap your name in the username field → choose role and gender → tap Next if no changes.
- To set/change avatar: tap the small plus/cancel icon on the avatar → pick a photo from your device → choose a color if prompted → tap Finish.
- To add family members: tap the gray + and repeat the steps for each person. Edit a member by tapping the pencil icon (change avatar, name, role, gender). Tap Save when done, then Done when all members are added.

Download the Cozyla+ Mobile App
Pairing with the mobile app gives the best experience:
- Scan the QR code shown on the device, or search Cozyla+ in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (download the official app).
- After installing, tap the arrow on the device to continue pairing.

Start Using Cozyla Apps
You’re ready to use all Cozyla apps.

Troubleshooting
- Confirm your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Restart the app or device if the screen does not respond as expected.
- Update the relevant Cozyla app or device software if your screen does not match this guide.

If the issue continues, contact Cozyla Support and include:
- Your Cozyla SN.
- The app or feature you were using.
- The email address or account type involved, if relevant.
- A brief description of what happened and what you expected to happen.
- A photo, screenshot, or short video of the issue if it is safe and relevant.
