The Pantry feature helps you track ingredients, quantities, and expiration dates for meals and meal planning.
You can search for ingredients, add them to your Pantry, and update Pantry items as needed.
Add Ingredients to Pantry
- Open the Pantry page from the bottom navigation bar.
- Type the ingredient name or meal name in the search field.
- Tap the search icon on the keyboard.
- Select the ingredient from the search results.
Edit a Pantry Item
You can update Pantry items to help track ingredient quantities and expiration dates.
- Open the Pantry page.
- Tap the ingredient you want to edit.

Update the ingredient details, such as:
- Expiration date
- Quantity
- Tap Save in the top-right corner.
Tips for Managing Pantry Items
- Update expiration dates regularly to help track fresh ingredients
- Review Pantry quantities before creating grocery lists
- Search for ingredients by ingredient name or meal name when available
Troubleshooting
Ingredients Do Not Appear in Pantry
If ingredients are missing:
- Confirm the ingredient was selected from the search results.
- Refresh the Pantry page.
- Wait a few moments for updates to appear.
Pantry Changes Are Not Saving
If expiration dates or quantities do not save:
- Confirm you tapped Save after editing.
- Confirm your device is connected to the internet.
- Reopen the Pantry item and try again.
Search Results Do Not Appear
If Pantry search does not return results:
- Try searching with a simpler ingredient name.
- Restart the Pantry page and search again.
