We found that the following methods did not address the root cause, and the Cozyla team sincerely apologizes for the misunderstanding of the solution. We have now identified the issues, and a patch fix is expected to roll out next week. Please stay tuned!
Before the Update:
1. Submit a Ticket: Reach out to our support team by submitting a ticket. Include the build number of your Cozyla calendar. Our team will provide you with the relevant update files to proceed.

Preparing the Update:
- Format your USB flash drive to FAT32. Note: This will delete all data on the drive.
- Download the update files and copy only the ‘Update.zip’ file to your USB flash drive. Avoid extract the zip file.
Installing the Update:
- Remove the back cover of your Cozyla Calendar.
- Insert the USB flash drive into the device while it’s powered on.
Updating the Device:
Before the update, please ensure to back up any important data before proceeding with the update as it will erase all existing data on the device. Your app’s cloud data will remain unaffected and safe.
- The update interface will automatically appear after the flash drive is connected.
- Select ‘Update’ to start the process. It may take 15-25 minutes. Do not remove the flash drive during this time.
Completing the Update:
- After the update, the device will automatically reboot.
- You need to perform a factory reset by navigating to: System > Reset Options > Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
Final Steps:
- Once the device reboots, remove the USB flash drive. If the update interface appears again, you can ignore it.
- Set up your Cozyla Calendar anew. The issue with the home screen resets should now be resolved.
